Miele New Dynamic U1 Cat and Dog Upright Vacuum: Review

  • Has dial on the vacuum for the suction settings of the vacuum – has 4 levels of suction control
  • Has an Active AirClean filter to neutralise odors
  • Has a SwivelNeck™ feature for extra cleaning manoeuvrability
  • Uses an AirClean 3D Efficiency U Filter bag with a 6L dust capacity

  • Comes with special accessory which is the Mini Turbo Brush for pet hair and deep trapped hair
  • Has a 1 year limited warranty on the vacuum as a whole, except the casing, powerhead motor and vacuum motor which all have their individual warranties as well (up to 7 years)

  • Some users have experienced durability issues with this vacuum in 2018 – this may be an issue with this specific batch of vacuums, or just the Amazon vacuums. Regardless, for the price, defect or durability issues shouldn’t be occuring
  • Doesn’t have the +/- Footswitch Controls like the C3
  • Is Expensive
  • Not a bagless vac – works with a bagged system
  • The warranty page can be a bit complicated to read – would be better with an individual warranty page for each model

  • Considering the price, and considering some of the potential durability issues through third party sellers, it might be worth looking elsewhere for now. The other Miele cat and dog vacuums are worth a look.
