BISSELL Big Green vs Big Green Commercial: Which To Get?
You would get either of these machines if you want a deep cleaning carpet machine (for stains, dirt and marks) for the home, or in some instances commercial purposes.
We’ve rated the 86T3 amongst the best deep carpet cleaners on the market right now.
In terms of which Big Green machine to get …
Both machines have essentially the same performance specs.
However, if you want a longer warranty, and a machine that comes with a hose and a tough stain tool, you’ll want to get the 86T3.
The hose and tough stain tool allows for cleaning of stairs, upholstery, and other soft surfaces (in addition to carpets).
If you can get them for similar prices, or the price difference isn’t significant, the 86T3 offers the better warranty and inclusions.
As a point of difference, it may also be worth checking out the Rug Doctor Deep Cleaner machines.
BISSELL Big Green vs Big Green Commercial: Differences
– There’s 5 main differences between the two:
– The Commercial machine is part of the Bissell commercial range, whilst the 86T3 is part of the residential range
– The Commercial has a limited 1 year limited warranty, whilst the 86T3 has a 5 year limited warranty (although – check and confirm this prior to buying as it might change)
– The Commercial BG10 model doesn’t come with a hose and tough stain tool, whilst the 86T3 does (a 9 foot hose and a 6 inch Tough Stain Tool). You’ll have to purchase the hose and additional tools/attachment separately with the BG10 if you want to use them with it.
The hose and tough stains tool allows the cleaners to be used on above floor level surfaces like upholstery and stairs (although confirm prior to using)
– The Commercial has a clear top, whilst the 86T3 has an opaque top, and the colors of the electrical cords are different … i.e the machines look slightly different
– When used with the hose and attachment tool, a cleaner will be slightly heavier than if not used with a hose and tool
