BISSELL CleanView Swivel Pet vs Shark vs Dyson: Main Differences, & Which To Get?

Overall

The BISSELL Cleanview Swivel Pet 2252 is certainly worth looking at if you want an affordably priced vacuum with all the standard features.

The Navigator Lift Away Professional is worth looking at if you want a few more additional features on top of what the Swivel Pet offers, like Lift Away capability.

The Dyson V Series are worth looking at if you want a stick/cordless vacuum.

The Dyson Animal and Ball Series are worth looking at after you’ve looked at the Swivel Pet and Navigator Lift Away Professional, if what you want is an upright vac.

BISSELL Cleanview Swivel Pet Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner, 2252

The Cleanview Swivel Pet 2252 might be the best value for money vacuum on the market for general cleaning and certainly for pet hair (the Eureka PowerSpeed is also a good value upright vac, and, you can read a Cleanview Swivel Pet vs Eureka PowerSpeed comparison here).

It’s affordably priced, but has all the basic features you’d want for a standard clean.

It also has a hose and pet cleaning tools for above floor level cleaning, in addition to being able to clean carpets and hard floors.

Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional NV356E

The Shark offers a few more features than the Cleanview Swivel Pet.

It has the Lift Away feature, plus a slightly bigger dust container, and is lighter in weight too. It also has the allergen seal.

Currently, there’s also a 5 year limited warranty on offer, compared to the 3 year limited warranty for the Swivel Pet.

It’s usually slightly higher priced, but, is still a very good value for money vacuum for general cleaning and pet hair.

Dyson V Series Stick Vacuums, & Animal & Ball Vacuums

Dyson has a range of stick vacuums in their V Series.

We’ve personally rated the V10 and V11 models as some of the better models overall, and especially for picking up pet hair.

In terms of the upright vacs, the Ball Multi Floor, and Animal Total Clean models are some of the more popular models right now.

The Animal 1 and Animal 2 are the two popular upright Dyson Animal models, and both are well rated.

Read a comparison guide of the Dyson Ball Animal vacuums here.
