In May 2018, it appears as though some of the description for the Croozer Mini on Amazon might be inaccurate. The Croozer website and Amazon have some conflicting information on the details of the trailer/stroller like for example the max carrying weight (45lbs on the site, and 100lbs on Amazon), or the wheel size (16 inches on Amazon, and 12 inches on the site)

In reality – the Mini doesn’t work well as a stroller for two reasons…

The handlebar for the stroller is quite low, and

The front wheel is plastic and not an air tire with spokes/rims like the back wheels. This makes pushing the stroller awkward as the front wheels is hard and plastic, and the back wheels are air tires

 

Overall

Well made and works well as a trailer. There’s no dispute that Croozer make quality products. However, this product doesn’t work as well as a stroller for walking as it does as a bike trailer.

Croozer may want to look at making the handle bar a bit higher and changing the front wheel material. They could also update the Amazon listing.

For small, pets you may want to look elsewhere first if you are looking for a 2 in 1 trailer and stroller. The Aosom 3 in 1 pet bike trailer/stroller/jogger is a popular option

Overall, it’s extremely well made with high quality materials. It is practical as a bike trailer and a crate/kennel. But, it’s not as good as a stroller.

The price might seem expensive at first, but you’ve got to consider that it can carry large pets and compared to the other pet bike trailers on the market – the price is more justifiable.

Also, it might be the only pet bike trailer on the market that can be used as a crate/kennel as the enclosure detaches off the trailer frame. For this reason, it provides more value for money.

In general, the Aosom appears to have a slightly high centre of gravity so if you have a heavier dog and weight tips to one side of the trailer too quickly, the trailer can start to tip. This is not a major concern though as long as you are using the trailer/stroller/jogger in a controlled way

 

Overall

Overall, considering the price, this is a great trailer/stroller/jogger for people on a budget or looking for a cheaper option to transport and carry their pets. The drawbacks can be managed – they don’t take away from the the Aosom in a major way. A value for money option
