So, decide which of these types of cleaning machines you want first.
Secondly, and beyond that major difference, a more detailed summary of what each model is, and a few differences are:
HOOVER SmartWash
The SmartWash has the regular SmartWash, and the SmartWash Pet models available.
The SmartWash models are electric, upright, carpet cleaner machines.
They clean and dry with automatic triggerless drying and cleaning.
They use water and a cleaning solution, scrubber brushes, and Heat technology for drying.
They can be used on carpet, but also above floor level on upholstery, stairs, and so on – with the use of a hose and various cleaning tools.
The SmartWash is one of HOOVER’s best upright/full size carpet cleaners, and also one of the best overall upright carpet cleaners.
BISSELL CrossWave
The CrossWave has the CrossWave, CrossWave Pet, & CrossWave Cordless Max models available.
The CrossWave machines are designed as 2 in 1 wet dry vac machines i.e. they can wet mop dry mess, and also pick up other mess with vacuum suction.
They are for hard sealed floors, and area rugs.
The CrossWaves can’t be used for above floor level cleaning with a hose and cleaning tools like the SmartWash machines can.
The CrossWaves also do not have an automatic cleaning mode.
The CrossWave does have a cordless model available though which the SmartWash doesn’t.
The CrossWave is perhaps one of the top wet dry vac models for pets on the market right now.
