HOOVER SmartWash vs SmartWash Pet: Which One To Get?

Firstly, you would consider either of these models if what you want is an electric, upright, carpet cleaner machine.

These machines perform a wet clean with water, scrubber brushes, and a cleaning formula, and then dry HeatWave technology.

They can be used on carpet, but also above floor level on upholstery, stairs, and so on – with the use of a hose and various cleaning tools.

The SmartWash is currently as on of HOOVER’s best upright/full size carpet cleaners.

In terms of which carpet cleaner to get between the two, considering the differences …

– The first difference is that the Pet model comes with a Spot Chaser PreTreat Wand, to pretreat pet stains and odors on floor surfaces before you clean

– Another difference is that the Pet model comes with the FlexForce Pet PowerBrushes (which on assumption are designed to deal with pet stains, messes and odors specifically), and the regular SmartWash comes with the regular FlexForce PowerBrushes.

– The Pet model may also come with specific pet cleaning and shampoo formulas, whereas the regular SmartWash may come with general cleaning formula (cleaning solution)

Both models come with the Pet 2 In 1 Antimicrobial Cleaning Tool

Both models have a limited warranty on the motor of 5 years

If there is minimal difference in the price you are going to pay, and you have pets, you may as well get the Pet model

If you don’t have pets, the regular SmartWash model might make more sense to purchase, but the SmartWash can still be used for pets.

Some people may prefer the regular SmartWash even if they pets, as it’s one of HOOVER’s most popular upright carpet cleaners.

Overall, the SmartWash and the 2X Revolution Pet Pro from BISSELL are some of the best upright carpet cleaners on the market right now.
