BISSELL CrossWave vs ProHeat 2x Revolution: Summary

A summary of what each machine offers, and which to get:

Overall

They are two different types of machines.

Consider getting the CrossWave if you want a 2 in 1 wet dry vac i.e. a powered mop type wet cleaner, and vacuum cleaner 2 in 1.

And, consider getting the ProHeat 2x Revolution if you want a dedicated wet carpet cleaner and dryer (it dries with HeatWave technology).

We’ve rated the CrossWave as one of the best wet dry vacs for pets, and the 2X Revolution Pet Pro as one of the best upright carpet cleaners for pets.

So, both models are worth consideration if what you want is either a wet dry vac for hard sealed floors, or an upright carpet cleaner for carpets, area rugs, and above floor level cleaning with a hose and cleaning tool.

CrossWave

The CrossWave machines are wet dry vacs.

They have the ability to both wet clean dry mess and marks like a powered mop, and dry vacuum different surfaces.

The Cordless Max model offers cordless cleaning.

The Pet model offers features specific to pet owners.

The base model might be for non pet owners, and those who prefer corded cleaning.

ProHeat 2x Revolution

The ProHeat Revolution machines are specifically carpet cleaners and dryers.

They provide a wet clean and dry on carpet, upholstery and area rugs.

The regular 2x Revolution might be for house owners without pets.

The Pet Pro comes with a few upgraded specs and additional features compared to the regular 2x Revolution model.

These features include things such as a removable brush roll cover, a slightly longer electrical cord, a longer limited warranty.

The Pet Pro obviously also has features such as a brush roll designed for pet mess, and cleaning solution designed for pet mess.
