Let’s check them out!
Best Star Wars Dog Costumes: Chewbacca, Ewok, AT-AT, Stormtrooper, Jedi Robe + More
Chewbacca Star Wars Dog Costume
A really cute furry chewbacca dog costume complete with Chewbacca’s signature bandolier and pouch.
The costume itself is made of polyester and comes in 4 sizes – Small through to Extra Large.
Estimated size chart is as follows:
- Small | Weight 6-10 | Neck 12 | Neck to Base of Tail 11 | Chest 17 | Breed Example Chihuaha, Pomeranian, Yorkie, Toy Poodle
- Medium | Weight 11-20 | Neck 14.5 | Neck to Base of Tail 15 | Chest 20 | Breed Example Pug, Maltese, Jack Russell, French Bulldog, Boston Terrier.
- Large | Weight 21-29 | Neck 18 | Neck to Base of Tail 22 | Chest 23 | Breed Example Bichon, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, Corgi and Scottish Terrier
- X-Large | Weight 30-45 | Neck 20 | Neck to Base of Tail 28 | Chest 27 | Breed Example Shiba Inu, Beagle
With the extra large size, owners with dogs up to 70lbs have found it fits their dog – it depends on the thickness of your dog and other dimensions.
Rubie’s Star Wars Dog Costume – Ewok
Probably one of the most adorable star wars dog costumes you’ll ever see.
This one is an ewok costume with melt your heart cute little fluffy ears.
It comes in 4 sizes – Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.
You can also get 4 other types of Rubie’s Dog Costumes – Leia, Darth Vader, Yoda, and Yoda with Arms.
- Small fits up to 14-inch chest and 11-inch neck to tail
- Medium fits pets up to 17-inch chest and 15-inch neck to tail
- Large fits up to 20-inch chest and 22-inch neck to tail
Note it’s probably wise to get a size up as the sizing chart does tend to be a bit small and inaccurate.
Rubie’s Jedi Robe Star Wars Dog Costume
This is probably one of the best fitting of all the dog costumes on this list.
Very cool looking Jedi robe for your dog that comes in a brown color with shirt and belt attached, plus a hood incorporated.
It comes in Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.
Sizes are shown when you click through on the sizes. For example:
- Medium fits a 17-inch chest, 15-Inch neck to tail
- Suggested breeds for the medium are: Pug, Maltese, Jack Russell Terrier, French Bulldog, Boston Terrier
AT-AT Star Wars Dog Costume
This is a rather unique looking AT-AT dog costume that includes printed lightweight fabric headpiece and body cover worn through the front legs.
It comes in 4 sizes – Small through to Extra Large.
Measurements are stated on each size when you click through them.
The sizes seem to run really large, so as an example, you’d definitely get a size down on what you usually think you’d get – an Extra Small would be suitable for small dogs like Jack Russells, a medium for large dogs like German Shepherds and so on.
Also, with this costume, you’ll probably have to be comfortable with making some alterations for it to stay on – with elastic or velcro and the material is quite thin and flimsy.
Bantha Star Wars Dog Costume
This costume is a Bantha jacket with attached rider and headpiece.
It only comes in one size that fits most medium size dogs, 15 Inch neck to tail and chest 17 Inch around.
The thing to note with this costume is that it doesn’t all that balanced on a dog’s back – you’ll likely need to make some adjustments and alterations yourself to get it to work.
The headpiece is also for dogs with small heads.
Darth Vader Star Wars Dog Costume
Black and ultra cool looking Darth Vader costume.
The costume includes a headpiece, cape with belt, and chest piece jumpsuit with decorative stuffed arms, and the jumpsuit is worn over a pet’s front legs.
For sizing you probably want a size larger than what you think you’ll need. So, for a medium dog, get a large costume.
Something else to note is that the helmet on this costume is quite poor quality. It’s sometimes unusable with the costume as it’s small and cheaply made.
Yoda Ear Headwear Star Wars Dog Costume
Very cute Yoda ears for dogs ad cats.
The ears sit on a headband that you put on your dog.
The headwear runs small, so get a size larger than you think you’ll need.
There is a medium, a large and a one size fits all headband. You can also get a princess leia headband with ear muffs which is quite cute.
Star Wars Stormtrooper Dog Costume
Similar to the Bantha costume, this stormtrooper costume might need some adjusting and modification to get it to fit and sit on your dog properly.
The stormtrooper helmet is quite small.
Aside from that, the costume comes with step-in shirt with false arms and headpiece.
There are three sizes – small, large and extra large. It’s recommended you get a size up from what you think you’ll need.
