Shark Navigator Freestyle vs HOOVER Linx: Main Differences, & Which To Get?

These vacuums are each cordless stick vacuums, with rechargeable batteries.

A few of the main differences are:

– The Freestyle has a 10.8V lithium ion battery, whereas the Linx models have a 18V lithium ion Battery

– The Freestyle weighs 7.5lbs, the regular Linx 7.3lbs, and the Linx Signature 10lbs

– The Shark Freestyle has a 1 year limited warranty, whereas the HOOVER Linx models have a 2 year limited warranty

– The HOOVER models have patented WindTunnel technology, and the Shark has technology like swivel steering

– The HOOVER models have a battery life indicator, and fingertip controls

– The dust cup capacities may also be different (but you’ll need to confirm the HOOVER dust cup capacities). The Shark is 0.64 quarts

The Freestyle and HOOVER Linx Signature might be worth some consideration if you’re looking for a cordless stick vacuum.

But, we would probably also look elsewhere first in terms of finding the best stick vacuums on the market.

If you are looking for other stick vacuum options, the Dyson V Series stick vacuums in our opinion are worth first consideration – especially the V10 and V11 models.
