Rug Doctor FlexClean vs Bissell CrossWave: Which To Get?

These are two different cleaning machines – you’ll want to consider the type of machines they both are before you look into them further.

Rug Doctor

The Rug Doctor is more of an all in one cleaner for soft and hard floors. It’s designed to replace mops, hard floor cleaners, and steamers to deliver an efficient, effective clean.

You can see a Rug Doctor review at the bottom of this guide (we list the features, and who it might and might not be for).

The BISSELL CrossWave on the other hand is a wet dry vac machine.

The different CrossWave models can wet mop and dry suction mess, and also pick up other mess and dirt with vacuum suction. They are for hard sealed floors, and area rugs.

Read a comparison guide about the different CrossWave models in here.

Overall, it’s worth checking out some of the other ‘best rated’ cleaning machines on the market first, especially over the Rug Doctor FlexClean.

Some people have issues with the weight and manoeuvrability of the cleaner – can be an issue for small spaces

Some people have issues with the noise of the cleaner

Some people have issues with the cleaner not sucking up enough water

Some people experience that the cleaner is more of a spot cleaner than a heavier cleaner

This cleaner has some great features like the overall design, the tanks, and the number of modes.

However, the performance can be unreliable in terms of the ability to clean bigger or deeper marks and stains, and the ability to suction water back up.

It’s worth reading the return policy and warranty conditions prior to buying in case you have any issues.

For lightweight cleaners for carpet, the HOOVER Powerscrub Elite or HOOVER Powerdash may be better options. A steam mop may be better on hardwood.
