Drawbacks
You have to buy other blades separately
There are important internal parts made of plastic in this clipper such as around the screws in the blade assembly – these plastic parts seem likely to break or fail
The blade in general seems to sit at a higher level and more awkward angle than with other pet clippers
Overall
For the price, you would probably expect the cheap plastic parts in this clipper to be replaced with heavier duty material so you feel confident the clipper will last years. Until these parts are improved, it’s probably better looking at other clippers. The Andis AGC2 corded clipper is a pretty good value for money versatile pet clipper
