  • A cordless/battery operated stick vacuum – highly portable with no cords, and very lightweight
  • Can be used on most surfaces, and above floor level too
  • Uses a motorised brush head for picking up hair, including pet hair (the head is a Torque drive cleaner head)
  • Runs on lithium ion batteries
  • Designed to run up to 60 minutes on a full charge with non motorised tools and brush heads
  • Charging time is around 3.5 hours
  • The V10 is designed to have the most suction power of any of the stick cordless Dyson vacs – it has a V10 digital motor
  • There’s a slider switch to select between the three power modes – low, medium and max
  • The V10 works as a stick vacuum but can also detach down into a smaller and lighter handheld
  • There’s a a dust container on this vacuum and no bags to deal with
  • The dust container has a whole machine dust filter system
  • Container capacity is 0.2 gallons/0.77 litres
  • With the extended reach of the stick, you can clean floors, but also walls and ceilings
  • Comes with the following accessories – Combination tool, crevice tool, mini soft dusting brush, and mini-motorized tool
  • So, there’s 4 attachments in total, plus the Torque drive cleaner head
  • Also comes with a wall mounting station for mounting your vacuum on the wall
  • There’s 14 cyclones on the vacuum
  • Vacuum has a 2 year limited warranty

  • With the motorised brush head, you only get about 20 mins run time (not the 60 minutes you get with the non powered crevice tool and other non powered attachments)
  • Not a cheap vacuum
  • Some people may prefer an electric/corded vacuum if they don’t like the idea of having limited run time with a battery
  • Some people can have issues with the battery (like any battery operated vacuum). Make sure you check the return policy and warranty conditions prior to purchasing to protect your investment
  • Some people don’t like that you have to hold the trigger down to use this vacuum

  • Overall, the power and features on the V10 Animal are good, but reliability/durability are a concern for some buyers. The battery especially runs out quick for some people. The V8 may be a better choice if this is a concern for you. If you want to get the V10 for the extra power, just make sure you are OK with the return policy and warranty before you buy.
