BISSELL Spinwave vs Plus vs Cordless: Comparison, & Reviews

There’s several brands and models to choose from for powered mop cleaners – for both general mess, and pet mess.

One of these brands is BISSELL, and we’ve put together a guide of a few of their more popular mop cleaners

We’ve listed the main features, differences and similarities of the Spinwave, Spinwave Plus, and Spinwave Cordless models.

Let’s take a look at them!

Bissell Spinwave vs Plus vs Cordless: Which One To Get?

Firstly, all three Spinwave models are powered hard floor mop cleaners.

So, you’d look at them if that’s the type of cleaning tool you want, and hard floors are the type of surface you are looking to clean.

We’ve rated the SpinWave amongst the best powered cleaners on the market at the moment.

You’d get the Spinwave Plus over the base model Spinwave if you want the extras that come with it.

These extras include an extra set of mop pads, cleaning formula, and scrubby pads for tough and sticky messes

As far as we could see, at the time of writing this guide, BISSELL did not offer the base model Spinwave on Amazon – only the Plus.

You would get the Cordless Spinwave model if you don’t want to deal with an electrical cord while you are cleaning.

You’ll get about 20 minutes of cleaning time with the battery, and you may also pay more for the cordless model.

So, take these factors into consideration.

Bissell Spinwave vs Plus vs Cordless: Differences

The difference between the Spinwave and Spinwave Plus is that the Plus comes with an extra set of mop pads, extra bottle of cleaning formula (you get a wood floors special cleaning formula that gives them extra shine, in addition to multi surface formula for all sealed floors), and the scrubby pads for tough and sticky messes.

Some online reviews state that the electrical cord length and power of the two machines are different, but we found that the cord length on both machines was 22 feet with the information available.

We could not confirm the power rating of both machines (you may want to contact BISSELL to confirm prior to purchase)

One set of information we found indicated the Plus was a slightly bigger machine, while other sets of information indicated they are the same dimensions/size.

Two different sets of information indicated all three models were 16 x 8 x 45 inches in dimensions.

The Cordless obviously doesn’t use an electrical cord like the base model Spinwave or the Spinwave Plus – it uses a 18V Lithium ion battery for cordless cleaning.

The Cordless when we checked was also more expensive across various online sellers.

The Cordless when we checked also came with a 1 year limited warranty compared to the 2 year limited warranty for the Spinwave and Spinwave Plus (although, check and confirm this before you buy yourself)

Bissell Spinwave vs Plus vs Cordless: Similarities

As far as we could confirm from the information available to us – the Spinwave and Spinwave Plus are the same machine.

The only differences are the pads included and the cleaning formulas included (you may want to confirm this with BISSELL though prior to purchase).

Both come with the soft touch pads.
