BISSELL CrossWave vs Dyson vs Karcher: Summary, & Which To Get

A summary of what each range of machine is, and why you’d consider getting them is:

Overall

The CrossWave machines are wet dry vacs that have the ability to wet mop hard surfaces, and vacuum as well. They are specifically designed for cleaning inside the house.

The CrossWaves are rated amongst the best models of wet dry vacs for pets on the market.

The Dyson V Series vacuums are cordless stick type vacuums only.

Karcher offers hard floor cleaners, a wet dry vacuum, a steam cleaner, and a cordless vacuum. Karcher’s cleaners are more multi purpose cleaners than the regular ‘inside the home’ cleaner.

In our opinion, the Dyson V Series cordless vacuums are a better option overall than the Karcher cordless vac. So, you may want to start by looking at them for a vacuum only cleaning machine.

In terms of wet dry vacs, we would start by looking at the CrossWave for most regular home and pet owners. It’s made specifically for sealed hard floors, and area rugs. If you want more of a multi purpose wet dry vac, you might look at the Karcher WD4 or WD5.

CrossWave

The CrossWave machines are wet dry vacs.

They have the ability to both wet clean, and dry vacuum different surfaces.

The Cordless Max model offers cordless cleaning.

The Pet model offers features specific to pet owners.

The base model might be for non pet owners, and those who prefer corded cleaning.

Dyson

The main difference between the Dyson cordless vac models is that the suction power increases from the V6 up to the V11, with the V11 being the most powerful of them all.

The battery life also generally increases too.

We believe the V8 series offers the best value for money overall in terms of performance, battery life and reliability/durability, followed closely by the V7 series.

The V10 is powerful, but the battery life can in terms of how quickly it can drain can be an issue for some.

The V11 is estimated to be about 40% more powerful than the V8 range, and 20% more powerful than the V10 range.

If cost isn’t an issue, the V11 models are a good option if you want that extra power – the Torque Drive Model also has a real time LCD display for the vacuum.

The V11 models have max 60 minutes of run time on their batteries.

Karcher

The Karcher wet dry vac is worth a look for people who want a multi surface cleaner, with a 1800W motor, and large tank size.

It has adaptability and uses outside of regular inside the house floor surface cleaning.
