Andis AGRV Power Groom+ 5-Speed Detachable Clippers: Review & Buyer’s Guide
If you prefer, you can go straight to viewing the Andis AGRV Power Groom+ 5-Speed Detachable Clipper here:
You have to buy extra blades with this clipper. The Andis CeramicEdge Carbon-Infused Steel Pet Clipper Blades (on Amazon) are extra blades for the clipper. If you get a 7FC blade, that is a pretty good place to start. The clipper comes with a 10 blade already. You may also choose to get a plastic clipper comb set instead because metal blades can heat up pretty quick on this model

The clipper unit is 6.50 inches in length

Drawbacks
Not a cheap clipper
You have to buy grooming blades separately. It only comes with a #10 blade at the moment when bought through Amazon (but confirm this when you buy)
A warranty longer than 1 year would be better
The blade seems to get hotter on this model than other models. You may have to use plastic combs clipper blades instead
At the end of 2017/start of 2018, there seems to be a few defective models being made that arrive with a dead battery or motor. Make sure to check the clipper unit when you get it to make sure your clipper doesn’t have this issue
Overall
Some people have no issues with this clipper, whilst others experience the blade heating up too much, or sometimes an issue with the motor or battery. For the price and because of the potential risk of it not working as you’d like, you may want to check out the Andis Super AGR+ Cordless Clipper instead. But, be aware that clipper is only 1 speed
